Alright, here we go! Today officially marks Day 1 of my commitment to becoming a web developer. Yes, I’ve technically been dabbling since June this year, but honestly, I was just casually watching videos without really getting my hands dirty. Sure, I learned some HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, but it was more like “Oh, this is cool” than “Let’s build something real.”
Now? It’s different. I’m all in. My goal is clear: in 10 months, I want to confidently call myself a web development expert. Sounds ambitious? Maybe. But I’ve got a plan, a passion, and a whole lot of determination to back it up.
What I Did Today
- JavaScript Practice
I dove deeper into JavaScript today. Instead of just reading or watching tutorials, I actually coded. Played around with some simple DOM manipulations and event listeners. Nothing fancy yet, but I’m getting more comfortable with the syntax. - CSS and JS Integration
I combined CSS and JavaScript to create some interactive elements on a basic web page. Seeing a button change color when clicked or an element fade in with animation is so satisfying! It’s like watching my ideas come to life on the screen.
How I Feel
Honestly? Pretty pumped. I’m realizing how much I actually enjoy building stuff. There’s a thrill in figuring out why my code doesn’t work, tweaking it, and then suddenly — it works! It’s like solving puzzles but cooler because I’m creating something useful.
What’s Next?
Tomorrow, I plan to focus on building small projects. Maybe a simple to-do list app or an interactive webpage. The idea is to build, build, build, even if it’s not perfect. Practice is key, and I want to get used to creating things from scratch.
So, here’s to a new beginning and sticking to it this time. Future me, if you’re reading this, I hope you’re smiling and crushing it as a web dev pro. Let’s do this!
