Some fonts whisper, Gumdrop bounces in with a big, sugary grin. Built from thick, rounded strokes and soft, friendly curves, it has the chunky charm of letters made from candy dough, squished and shaped by happy little hands. Nothing about it feels stiff or serious; every curve is round, every corner is soft, every letter looks ready to roll across the page like a marble made of frosting and joy.
The detail that makes Gumdrop truly special is in the small touches: dotted i and j topped with plump round bubbles, a lowercase set that feels relaxed and cheerful, and an uppercase set that keeps the same bold, candy-like roundness. Together they create a typeface that feels handmade, joyful, and full of warmth, the kind of lettering a child might dream up while drawing on a bright, sunny afternoon.
Picture it on a kid’s birthday card, wrapped around a candy jar label, sitting proudly on a playground sign, splashed across a children’s app logo, or printed on a cereal box full of color and energy. Gumdrop fits anywhere a design needs to feel cheerful, sweet, and a little bit silly.
